Not quite round

Lots of people have commented since Jake's plagiocephaly diagnosis that they haven't noticed anything "off" about his head. Granted, it's not as pronounced as Nathaniel's case was, but it's still visible.

Let's take a tour ...

Hi, Jakey! Aren't you just the cutest little guy ever? (Sorry. Getting off topic.)



It might be a little hard to tell from this picture, but the right rear side is the flat side.



You can pretty clearly see the bulge on the left side here:



This one really doesn't show you anything except how cute his nose is. It's just that cute and 90-degrees in person. It's like a little ski mogul right there on his face.


We'll talk to a couple of local orthotics dealers here, and our cousin Robin in North Carolina -- who was the first to notice Nathaniel's issue -- is asking around in her neck of the woods for us, too. Once we've decided which path we're taking, I'll post an update!
