Buy a Kindle, support a cause

Many of you are familiar with our great-nephew's battle with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Matt and Patrice, our nephew and niece, have received much-needed support and information from DEBRA, the Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association of America. DEBRA is the only national non-profit organization dedicated to both promoting research to find new treatments and a cure for EB and providing information and support for people with EB and their families.


Today I discovered that Amazon.com is running a promotion on its wireless reading device, the Kindle, that will make a difference in the lives of those who live with EB every day.




Right now, if you go to DEBRA, you can click on a link in the center frame to order your Kindle, and Amazon.com will donate a percentage of the purchase amount to DEBRA to help fight EB. (You have to link to Amazon from DEBRA in order for the donation to take place.)

The price is steep, and the economy is in the toilet, but I wanted to let you know.
