This is one of the cutest, most original crafty ideas I've seen in a long time:

He's going to have them printed in large format and then frame them to hang next to each other in Ava's room. I'm not sure I've ever accomplished anything that cute with the monetary equivalent of $2 T-shirts and a Sharpie from Wal-Mart.
I'd love to do it for Nathaniel and Nick's room, but I'm afraid the only words they'd agree to model would be Booger or Wrestle. If you think of any good words I might be able to get them to agree to, leave them in the Comments!
