DNA is a powerful thing

Shortly after I wrote The Mud Posts, my sister reminded me that last year our dad sent us an e-mail titled "It's in the DNA." He attached two pictures to the e-mail and said, "He comes by it honestly" ... the "he" referring to Nathaniel.

And this one is of Nathaniel last summer in our backyard:

It's funny how two cameras, one held by my dad and one held by me, 30 years apart, captured two such similar moments in time.
