For instance, I took this picture Wednesday afternoon while traveling back to my office from one of our other buildings:
And I thought to myself, "Where are they going? It's too early to leave work, too late to come IN to work, and that's too many cars to belong to real estate agents showing lofts downtown."
So, naturally, I started a mental list. I'm pretty sure that within two minutes I'd assigned a destination and partial life story to every vehicle occupant in the frame, but I'll share with you only the few that you will need to read in order to be convinced that I am likely beyond help. These people were driving:
1. from work to the hospital for their first mammogram.
2. from the suburbs to visit the PaperWorks outlet downtown to pick out invitations for a friend's baby shower.
3. from work to the ad agency to drop off a signed contract for new work.
4. from the suburbs to pick up a spouse at work downtown because their second car is in the shop (or "shoppe," if you're British).
5. from their loft to their private pre-school to pick up their children.
6. from the suburbs to the newspaper and aluminum recycling outpost downtown to get in their Green for the day.
7. from their suburban high school to the ballet academy downtown to practice for the spring recital.
9. from work to the dentist for a six-month cleaning -- but they'll have a cavity (arrgggh).
10. from work to their suburban elementary school to pick up a child who's throwing up.

SEE? I told you I'm nuts.

Nuts but sweet. I liked your musings. You remind me of myself. :)
I do that too, does that make me nuts?
I'm glad I'm not the only one .... and that it can be considered sweet instead of crazy. Thanks, ladies!
I love it! You are very creative, I must say.
"Creative" ... I LOVE it!
