I loooooooooooooooove to help my mommy in the kitchen. One of my Very Favorite Things is to help her load the dishwasher.
Even though I am only 17 months old, I load the dishwasher like I'm 35. Or, at least like I'm a 35-year-old man. Which is to say that I try really hard, buy I don't pre-rinse and I don't put everything exactly where Mommy would put it if she were doing it The Right Way. Her Way.
But Mommy is very patient with me, even though I Am Male. She takes all the sharp knives out before I start to help.
I MEAN IT. I AM SO GOOD AT THIS, RIGHT?
As a matter of fact, on THIS day Mommy was looking for some of the dishes after I got finished helping her, and she looked in all the cabinets and all over the floor. It wasn't until she finally opened up the child-proofed cabinet under the kitchen sink to get the dishwashing liquid out that she found out where I'd put them.
As it turned out, I had opened the little drawer under the sink and thrown them in while she was busy nesting her Tupperware or something. I am crafty like that. You have to watch me every second.
And now, here's a little video of me helping. Tah-dah!
