A funeral service is being held for a woman who has just passed away. At the end of the service, the pall bearers are carrying the casket out when they bump accidentally into a wall, jarring the casket. They hear a faint moan and open the casket to find that the woman is actually alive! She lives for ten more years, then finally dies.I'm still smiling.
A ceremony is again held at the same place, and at the end of the ceremony the pall bearers are carrying out the casket. As they are walking, the husband cries out, "Watch the wall!"

I'm no Gloria Steinem
I would make a terrible feminist. I think men should take out the trash, and sometimes jokes that poke fun at women make me laugh out loud. To wit, this one that came to me from a male co-worker:

You "would make a terrible feminist"? You mean, like, if it was your job?
I don't think feminism and chivalry are mutually exclusive, so you can believe in equal rights for women and Grayson can still take out the trash.
Cute joke.
haha funny. I could say something but I might get incriminated by a family member. :) I agree with the guys taking out the trash. And even though I'm not pregnant I still have Nathan clean out the litter box cause you never know when it will happen again and he might as well be prepared. hehe.
SET, Yep, I mean if it were my job or whatever. Or just if people expected me to side with the women on stuff like total equality. I am actually totally happy to let men have just a wee bit more of some things so that I don't have to step up and assume some of the manly responsibilities. They can have 'em.
I'm almost positive that most men don't see taking out the trash as chivalrous, but perhaps I'm wrong. If I had more male readers, I'd ask them.
Rachel, Grayson scoops our cat litter most of the time, because over the course of three pregnancies, it sort of became his job by default. However, we really still split that duty. I do like it that he's willing to do it, though.
