Happy anniversary, baby, I got you on my my-hind.

Dear Grayson,

I'm pretty sure I didn't write anything mushy about you on Valentine's Day, your birthday or Father's Day. (AREN'T I A KEEPER?)

But today is our 14th anniversary, and I just wanted to go on record as saying:

- I love that you let me go to scrapbooking crops whenever our schedule allows so that I can document all of our memories for our family.

- I love that you like to look at the scrapbooks -- older and more recent -- and laugh and marvel over how much the boys have changed.

- I love that even though you put up some resistance to "my latest project" -- whatever it may be -- ultimately you pretty much let me do whatever I want to do.

- I love that you read my blog. And sometimes make snarky comments.

- I love the way you've stepped up this year to be a Cub Scout leader. So many dads can't or won't take the time, and I'm so proud of you for volunteering your time to make a difference.

- I love the life and family we've built and look forward to many more years together!
