His ship(ment) has come in

Every year for each boy's birthday, they get to wear a special shirt to their party and to school the first day after their party.

It's a tradition I started when Nathaniel turned 1, and they get SO excited every year when we whip out the shirts. The company I've always ordered them from stops making them at age 6, so this year I ordered one from Smitten & Co. (I've wanted to order from Smitten for the last year, but I already had the shirts through age 6, so I had to wait. AREN'T I THE VERY MODEL OF THRIFTINESS?)

Anyway, Nathaniel's shirt just arrived, and it's adorable.

His face just lit up when he saw it.
