This week was momentous for one reason and one reason only: JAKE SAID A WORD. He identified an object correctly with a word. It gives me hope that there are more words on the way.
I remember when Nicholas was nine or ten months old he was crazy for balls. He still holds the record for the youngest child I have ever seen who could throw a ball. Not drop, mind you, but throw. Forward momentum and everything!
