The boys had some Game Stop gift cards from Christmas and some birthday money to spend. We'd promised them that we would take them shopping yesterday so that they would be relieved of the burden of having to SAVE that money. Because it seemed like it was going to KILL them to save it.
So that we could plan our outing most efficiently, Grayson asked Nathaniel to write a list of the things he wanted to buy, and he told Nick that he could draw a picture, since Nick doesn't know how to spell everything yet.
Grayson's plan was to look at their lists and then decide which stores to visit and in which order to get the boys what they wanted, while keeping our outing to a reasonable time so we could get back and put Jake down for his nap. So when he went to look at their lists, Nathaniel had written down "Lego Clone Troopers."
And Nick had drawn this:
It is a picture of "Force Unleashed," a Star Wars game for his PSP. It looks remarkably like the graphics on the box:
On the flip side of the paper he'd drawn this:
That black thing on top is a baseball cleat, because he's decided he wants to play this Spring. I believe that is a red Nike swoosh on the side. The brown thing below the cleat is fried chicken, because he wanted to go to Chick-fil-A while we were out.
I LOVE THAT KID.
