If the blog name 'All baseball, all the time' isn't taken, I might as well just go ahead and reserve it

Here is what I've learned about baseball in the one-twelfth of the season I've been involved in it:

1. You want your team to be great batters, and you want the other team's batters to suck.

2. You want your team to be great fielders, and you want the other team's fielders to suck.

3. When your team hits a ball, you don't want a kid on the other team to catch it.

4. When a kid on the other team hits a ball, you want DESPERATELY for a kid on your team to catch it.

THESE OBSERVATIONS ARE THE RESULTS OF VERY SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS.

My emotions are all over the map during the games. I don't care whether we win or lose (truly, I don't), but I WOULD love to see each of the kids get at least a base hit and catch a pop fly. It's hard for me to see some of the kids strike out over and over again. Mine included.

Of all the plays during practices and games so far, there's only been one that really made me laugh out loud. And I happened to capture it in real-time. Enjoy.

How funny. AJ did t-ball last summer and we are so very thankful that he didn't ask to do it again this year.

Love the pictures- he looks so adorable!

On second thought, maybe I should say he looks "rugged" or "manly." Hmmn.

Either way, I can't wait until Gabe can play. I have many fond memories of summers spent in the ball park... good times.

You NAILED it! Sooooo true :)

Could you tell that I am a little psycho about it all. Maybe it wasn't best that your first IRL encounter with me was at the ballpark, LOL!

LOVED getting to finally meet you though.....that took way too long!

Nick looks so.......PROFESSIONAL.......and........FOCUSED! Soon he'll be on the Atlanta Braves prospect list! I'm sure Nathaniel is equally photogenic in his uniform.

I can't get over how "professional" they look in their uniforms, either. They're like miniature MLB players!
