Now I realize that most of you haven't been waiting with bated breath to see the final product. But there are a few people who've e-mailed me about it, and my friend Paige, who lives in England, brought it up again in her last letter. So for those who are interested enough to scroll down through 46 pictures, this one's for you.
And for those who aren't, I'll have another post tomorrow, so come on back.
What follows are the pages of our family Disney album from our trip in January of this year. It filled one complete Creative Memories 12x12 album, and the pictures are jam-packed in there. I'm a big proponent of color-blocking and templates, both of which I put to full use in this book. I didn't embellish a whole lot with stickers or memorabilia, but I did try to give the book an overall distinctly Disney feel.
HERE WE GO. (Walt, now's the time to bail.) Depending on your browser, you may be able to click on each picture to enlarge it.
That last page, a pocket page, will be filled up with more memorabilia once I finish the Disney pages in the boys' books (MUCH less involved than this one), and I see how many things I have left over that I want to keep.
I hope to do a post on templates soon so you can see more of the technique without the distraction of bright colors! and Disney princesses! But I hope you enjoyed this glimpse at the album that's successfully set me back four months in all of our other albums, since this one has taken all my free time lately!

I usually just put the maps in the pocket pages, but I love what you've done!
I love it and what a timely post!! I am just getting all of my disney photos developed from our trip in April..I love the colorblocking look. So clean and not busy!!!
GORGEOUS!!!! This is beautiful! LOVE the idea of the pocket for memorabilia at the end! Thanks for sharing, can't wait to learn more!
It's AWESOME! Thanks for sharing. I love your scrapbooking style. I think my style is moving more into that type instead of the 'old school' creative memories style. :)
Wow. Totally worth the wait. I love, love, love it! It's very Kat-esque and perfect.
You should quit your job and let people hire you to do this. You'd make a fortune! Then you could come and visit me!
Thanks, guys! It was so much fun to do, but it took a couple of months to finish it. This BLOGGING thing really cuts into my scrapbooking time in the evenings. ;) I look forward to sharing more about templating and color blocking soon!
