Jakey. My baby. Sometimes he still looks like my baby.
But because he has two older brothers he idolizes, most of the time he looks like he's much older. He lays around like they do, kicks back like they do.
I DID see an isolated little glimpse of the excited baby the other day when he was keeping me company in our room while I got ready in the bathroom. When the Little Einsteins took off in their rocket, he raised his hands and yelled "Blastoff!"
(Sorry for the crazy eyes. Used the flash and it backfired on me.)
It wasn't but a few moments later that he was back to acting the non-plussed school-ager, still watching Little Einsteins but also engaged with his PSP.
It won't be long 'til he's actually starting Kindergarten and is a big boy, for real.
I'm so glad he still wants me to rock him at night sometimes and still "needs" me for things. I'm not ready for him to grow up yet.

Wow! My baby is doing the same thing. I love your bedding by the way.
Me neither! Stay little, Jakey!
