Questioning their tactics
I didn't click on it because I didn't want to give them any traffic, but this ad popped up in the sidebar of my Yahoo Mail this week. I'm not sure it's really sending the right message.

I, too, questioned the correlation of a high kicking, pump (high heels) wearing -50-60's era girl to a college grant. Maybe it's a throw back to the time when there were more men in college than women. Who were they trying to attract? A guy or women who could remember when we wore outfits like that. Yes, I was guilty...but never with high heels. I remember my last pair of short shorts... 36 yrs ago and many, many pounds ago!
No kidding, Beckie! I was like, WHAT??? And I'm pretty sure that even when I was 110 pounds, I never felt self-confident enough to wear short shorts. More power to you for having done it once upon a time!
