The welcome home they all deserve

My sister (whose blog and Twitter account are private -- which is really too bad because she's got lots of profane good stuff to say) posted a video the other day but I couldn't view it for some reason.

However, seeing that it was titled "Happy Veteran's Day! Here are some really happy dogs welcoming soldiers home," I went out to YouTube to search for it. AND THEN GOT SUCKED INTO A VORTEX OF THE CUTEST VIDEOS I'VE EVER SEEN FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR. This one was probably my favorite, especially because I heard the wife getting choked up in the background.

 

I hope if you know anyone returning from a tour of duty that you'll make every effort to welcome them back with all the enthusiasm, love and thanks you can muster. I'm not sayin' it has to be BEAGLE-WORTHY, but give it all you've got.

I'm so proud of all our veterans, including my dad and his "EMS Boys." Oh, and here's the link to the original video my sister posted, if any of you are lucky enough to be able to get it to work.
