We've had some cuh-RAZY weather in the South this Summer. Really strong storms, hail, tornadoes ... you name it, we've seen it.
Sometime last week, I got an e-mail from my dad with several images of a storm he encountered on his way back to Atlanta from Waynesville, N.C.
You know how when you see footage of tornadoes on TV, you sometimes say to yourself, "What in the WORLD are those people doing driving RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TORNADO?"
Uh huh.
I didn't even know it until last week, BUT APPARENTLY I AM RELATED TO ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. But at least he wasn't taking the pictures while he was driving. Ahem.
So glad my own personal crazy person made it home in one piece.

OMG! Those are the scariest clouds I have ever seen! We just saw an Omnimax movie about tornados and the clouds in your pictures look ever more sinister. I'm so glad your dad made it home.
