And one of the reasons is that Brown brings me presents. More in the last month than usual, since people have generously been sending gifts celebrating Amelia's arrival.
I thought I'd share a couple with you, things that have arrived within the last week.
First we received a box from BLOG READERS! Wendi and Beth are sisters-in-law (of each other, not I), and they are long-time blog readers. They sent a box containing two precious outfits!
They'd obviously picked up on my love of stripes and [a limited amount of] ruffles.
It's hard for me to believe that people I've never met would be so happy for our family, and I appreciate it so much.
The other surprise package that arrived was from one of my OWN sisters-in-law. She sent the cutest pillow for Amelia's room!
A while back, she asked me for a picture of my fabric, and I sent it to her.
The pillow coordinates perfectly!
The reverse side is finished in a cute green polkadot fabric, and the edges feature fuchsia ball trim!
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about having lots of girly stuff in the house, but as it turns out, I like it!
I feel so blessed to be surrounded by people who care about us and want to welcome Amelia "in style."
