1. I can't help myself. When I'm on Pinterest, each time a new Pin pops up, I try to guess who Pinned it before I look at the description. It's a sickness.
2. It’s a miracle that the hardwoods around the toilet in our powder room haven’t rotted through. I have three young boys, so I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what collects there. It smells nice in there for about two days after it’s cleaned, but after that, it starts to smell like the zoo.
3. I met a blog reader on the elevator recently at work. I was so surprised I neglected to get her name, but Hello, nice brunette! (Claire, maybe?) I love being reminded that there are real people out there who read this. Note to self: Don’t write about hemorrhoids so often.
4. When I get my oil changed, I always worry that I’m going to somehow drive my car into the pit. I’ve never even come close, but I think it’s related to the fact that I loved driving those antique cars at Six Flags when I was little. Every time my tires hit the metal center rail that kept me on course, I panicked because I knew that meant that if the rail weren’t there, I’d go careening off into the grass. Well, at the oil change place, there’s no metal rail. Just an open pit. Hence the anxiety.
5. If scenario number 4 ever happened to me, I would be less concerned about the damage to my car and more concerned about what the Oil Change Guys would say about me when I was gone.

Ha Ha- I refuse to go to oil change places because I have the same fear. I always make the hubby do it!
I don't want to sound stupid or anything but what is Pinterest? I've seen someone else on another blog mention it too but I've never heard of it. Can you please clarify it for an idiot like me? Thanx.
Two things: the boys bathroom scenario is the same at my house- so gross! I can't wait until I can pass that chore to them but I'm still not so sure it would be kept clean.
I have been known to jump out of the car really quick at the oil change place so that the guy will have to drive it in... When I was younger it always worked. Now that I'm old they make me do it myself which terrifies me!! I mean I wonder what they would do if someone actually did fall into the pit? And I also wonder how badly I would be hurt in the process? Who cares about the car?? I just want to know if I'd be ok!!
I am the same way with the oil place. ours does have rails though, thank goodness but I am afraid that I will go too fast and just jump over them at all of 2mph! The only male in our house is67 and I have to wash the wall regularly. My Mama said the last two drops were the worst.
#2- Yes! Sad this is, we only have one boy currently using that toilet.
#4- I too jump out of the car before they make me drive it in. I usually have one or two kids with me so I can get away with it.
#5- Yup, me too!
#4- at our place they pull the car in for you! It would be there fault and not mine.
