Packaging fail

When I went to make sandwiches on Sunday for lunch, I found two packages of sliced turkey in the meat drawer. I knew one was from mid-week and one was from the weekend before, but I wasn't sure which was which.

I set one aside to check the date on the first one:

And then, for comparison, I checked the date on the second one:

Huh. Since Sunday was April 1, 2012, this was not helpful. Had to settle for the sniff test. The good news: we're all still alive, so I must have chosen correctly.
