And by "a while," I mean probably over a year. I used to have a great one, but it was discontinued, and I just haven't found another one I love.
I thought I'd come close when I found this one at Walgreen's the other day:
I was really excited when I went to put it on the next morning. Funny how the anticipation of something as small as a new lipstick will get you moving in the morning! But when I put it on, this is how it looked:
Umm, that's not plum. Not even close. I mean, when you see packaging like this:
Do you expect it to come out looking like THIS?

I'm gonna have to give in and go to the ding-dang Clinique counter and swipe a bunch of those lipsticks across my wrist and wipe them off with a cotton ball. Just what I've been avoiding for the last year.
