A little waterlogged ... and it's only July 3

We've been spending a LOT of time at the pool lately. In case you can't tell from my constant weekend Tweets about how much time we're spending at the pool.

We split our pool time between the Y pool and our neighborhood pool.

The Y pool has this splash pad that I wasn't sure Amelia would like ...

But as it turns out, she's a fearless fan.

Once she discovered that she had The Power to Splash literally in the palm of her hand, it was all over.

She never startled, she never shied away.

She was just happy as a bug in a rug.

Whatever THAT means. Are bugs happiest in rugs?

No matter. She was happy as happy could be. LOVED splashing in those fountains.

Looks like we're gonna have four full-fledged waterbugs on our hands pretty soon.

We've currently got two really proficient swimmers, and Jake can swim with no assistance or floatation devices for about 20 feet.

As much as she looks up to them, I know she can't be far behind.
