Nathaniel has been out of town since last Sunday enjoying his first sleep-away camp experience. He's at Boy Scout camp, and apparently he's having a blast. I've been missing him like crazy, and apparently someone passed that message along to him, because I got this text from him yesterday:
I'm not the only one who misses him. Even Nick has admitted it. And Amelia asked to climb in bed with Jake last night for some "snugguh time." Could I say no? NO I COULD NOT.
Even though it was almost 9:00, I couldn't deny her the chance to climb up in Jake's bed and hang out with him and Nick in their room for a little while.
All three of them BEGGED me to let her sleep in there, but that I would not do.
I know. I'm such a meanie.
But I did let her stay in there for more than half an hour.
IT WAS PRACTICALLY A SLEEPOVER.
Nathaniel gets home on Saturday, and I can't wait to see how this crew welcomes him back into the fold.
I have a feeling that all four of them might end up in one bed for some period of time that night.
If they do, I'll be sure to take some grainy cell-phone pictures for you.
