A sneak peek

Sorry I didn't have time to check in here over the past couple of days ... If you looked at my Twitter feed on the right side of the blog, you probably noticed that I was out in Wyoming visiting my sister from Friday through yesterday morning.

We spent four solid days shopping for (online and two hours away, in Idaho Falls), furnishing and decorating her new-to-her home. We stayed up until all hours of the night painting, hanging curtain rods and curtains, framing artwork, adding things to lists that we still needed to do ... I wish I could've stayed at least a week!

We ordered lots of things online that haven't been delivered yet, and we custom-ordered four pieces from a furniture store in Idaho Falls that won't be delivered for several weeks (her couch, two chairs and an ottoman). So a "before-and-after" post will have to wait, but in the meantime, here's a sneak peek of the direction we went in her dining room:

I'm leaving town again on Friday night to spend a few nights with my friend Honor, but I hope to be back at least once before that with another post.
