I wanted to share this recipe with you guys before you all finalize your menus for Christmas Day. Because once you've had this Sweet Potato Casserole, there's no going back.
I know lots of people prefer theirs with marshmallow topping -- and I've had some like that that I've enjoyed -- but once I had my sister-in-law Debbie's, I was totally spoiled and have never made another recipe.

Sweet Potato Casserole
4 c. canned mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
Topping
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
5 tbsp. melted margarine
1 c. chopped pecans
Mix all souffle ingredients in bowl and put in 2-qt. casserole dish. Top with topping and bake 30-40 mins. at 350.
Here's what it looks like when it's been mutilated by six people BECAUSE EVERYONE REFUSED TO WAIT TO LET YOU TAKE A PICTURE BEFORE DIGGING IN.
You're just gonna have to trust me on this: That topping is worth going to jail for.
