You're only as old as you feel. Or something

As we were getting ready for work side-by-side yesterday morning:

 

Grayson: "I'm not sure who to call, but we need to find out if we're responsible for paying the property taxes for the new house by the end of the year or if the current owners are. I don't know how to find out if they've already paid them or not."

 

Me: "If you remind me, I'll ask Susie about it when I see her tonight. But I won't remember on my own. You need to text me while I'm there."

 

Grayson: "Okay, I'll go email myself so I remember to text you."

 

Me: [blink]  "We're the worst."

 

Maybe instead of buying a new house, we should just move straight to the retirement home.
