'Well, at least your eye didn't fall out!'

I don't know if any of you read Alpha Mom, but it's an advice column for parents that I've been reading for years.

Quite honestly, I don't think I've ever TAKEN any of the advice, because I don't know that I've ever needed any of it. But I'm sure some of it has sunk in over time, and Mir is down-to-earth, reasonable and as blunt as they come. If I wrote a parenting advice column, it would sound a lot like hers.

Yesterday's post made me laugh, because I've had plenty of experiences that mirrored the one she wrote about -- not as serious, but similar. And it made me wonder, have any of you ever ignored your child's "injury," and then it turned out to be an INJURY? If so, DO SHARE in the Comments.
